I bought the QVC Special Value which came with a 'Baby Buki' brush... is a bigger Kabuki brush any better, or would I be better with their foundation brush?

Do you have to use a Bare Escentuals brush? Has anyone used other brands of brushes with their powders and had the same/better/worse results?
