So I have been using the Bliss fatgirlslim and The Love Handler for exactly 8 weeks now.
I used the fatgirlslim on my stomach, hips, thighs and upper arms. I used The Love Handler under the fatgirlslim on just my stomach. I used both most days - twice a day for fatgirlslim and once a day for The Love Handler.
I changed nothing regarding exercise or my diet - so pretty much no exercise and eating whatever!!
Even from week 1 I was seeing improvements in skintone and after week 2 dimples on my thighs started to smooth out. After 8 weeks I've been very impressed, especially on my thighs which are so much smoother now. My upper arms are also much firmer-looking and again much smoother. This alone is good enoughfor me! But I was also testing whether I could lose inches too.
So to my measurements...
My measurements after 8 weeks:
Waist: 30" (loss of 2 inches)
Widest part of stomach (eek!): 37.75" (loss of 0.25")
Hips: 38.5" (loss of 0.25")
Left thigh: 21" (loss of 0.5")
Right thigh: 19.75" (loss of 1.25")
Left upper arm: 10.75" (no loss)
Right upper arm: 11" (loss of 0.75")
Well, I think that's what we'd call success!!
My L'Occitane order arrived today... my husband wanted some more of their Shea Butter Body lotion, so I took the opportunity to get the Vanilla Lip Gloss, Shea Butter Moisturiser and Cherry Blossom Shower Gel for myself! Inside were some samples too - Cooling Powdered Foot Gel, a Hair Mask and some of their new fragrances - can't say I'm overwhelmed by those, so I'll probably stick with my Jo Malone, but the Eau de 4 Reines is quite nice.
I have also order two of the L'Occitane Today's Special Value packs that were on this week... I'll probably use divide them up for presents, but there are some products I have my eye on!!
My order from Bliss arrived today and I begin my Bliss Challenge!
I have bought 'Love Handler' and 'FatGirlSlim' and will attempt to whittle away my problem areas!
My main problem area is my stomach... I hate it and it's becoming very difficult to find nice dresses to fit bust waist and hips nicely because of it - it's got to go! My other problem areas are my upper arms (eeek, scary bingo wings!) and my thighs which are starting to get very dimpled with cellulite.
Brilliant.... Peterborough's John Lewis now has a Smashbox counter - I am delighted!!
I was wandering around the store and spotted a girl with 'Smashbox' on the back of her t-shirt. I nearly tripped over myself as I rushed round and sure enough there was the full range in all it's glory!!
Of course I had to purchase...
Backdrop Foundation (little goes an extremely long way!)
Foundation Brush
Eye & Lip Primer
O-Glow cheek colour... love this, it goes on clear and adjusts to your skintone.
Back from a fab two-week holiday in Barbados and getting back into reality of dreary British weather!
My favourite holiday products were...
L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Lotion - great as an aftersun and my skin looks very healthy.
L'Occitane Milk Shower Cream - very moisturising and I'm sure it is this that helped my sunburn feel soothed and not get painful!
L'Occitane Honey Foaming Gel - I used this on my body and for a shampoo, it was great for both. Another good shower product for sunburnt skin. Leaves hair very soft and silky, despite everyday in the pool and/or sea.
Went rummaging through my drawers - the ones with hoards of beauty products!
Just as I thought everything was going well with my nail biting (I had stopped, honest!)... they've started to split and break.
Philosophy Candy Cane Bath & Shower Gel and the Hot Salt Scrub... ok, so it's their Christmas collection, but it's great for mornings as the peppermint is so refreshing.
Dug out some old(ish) bottles of Molton Brown today... I was clearing out the bathroom cupboard and found some Inspiring Wild Indigo Bath & Shower Gel and the matching Body Lotion.
