DHC Acerola Lotion

DHC Acerola Lotion (Toner)This product is great for combination skins as it really makes it glow rather than looky greasy across the T-Zone and dry everywhere else! I've just discovered it and it's only £7 what a bargain. It has loads of Vitamin C in which has to be a good thing, as a student I don't eat much fruit! I use it as part of DHC's 4 step beauty regime and I've really noticed a difference, well worth a try.

Arbonne NutriMinC RE9 REstoring Mist Balancing Toner

Arbonne NutriMinC TonerToners are one of those products that you might wonder why you bother with and it's not really the type of product we usually get excited about!

This toner surprised us - it really does remove those last traces of cleanser, not to mention the make-up (or muck?!) that the cleanser didn't get! It perhaps highlights the need for us to change cleansers!!

With witch hazel, known for it's astringent properties, it is also soothing and refreshing. When we first smelled the witch hazel we worried it would be drying, but it isn't at all.

If you have the feeling that your skin isn't *that* clean after cleansing then it's definitely worth adding this toner to your regime.

£22 for 93.15ml.

Lancome Tonique Douceur (Hydrating Lotion)

Loncome Tonique DouceurA soothing toner which is excellent for normal and dry skins, even those with combination skin have found this suitable.

Particularly good for getting rid of blackheads - not an instant result, but continued use certainly improves pore size and reduces blackheads. Not astringent, but has a similar effect without the dryness.

Very hydrating, but not greasy.

Comfortable on the skin, leaving it feeling clean but not stripped as some toners do.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

An absolute must for flights and holidays as this tonic soothes, hydrates and boosts skin so well, but also a great day-to-day toner.

With aloe vera, calendula, geranium, cucumber and vitamin E we can't praise this enough... all our testers liked it, especially those with dry or sensitive skins. It doesn't dry skin out at all and it is so calming and relaxing.

Molton Brown Skinbalance Toning Lotion

A lovely refreshing toner which suits all skin types, although some of our testers with sensitive dry skins did find it a little too astringent for them, which we put down to the grapefruit extract as this product is alcohol-free. Overall though this was a hit, we really loved the smell - very fresh and fruity - and most of us noticed a real difference in skin radiance.
